Morgan Day – San Diego, CA

Morgan Day has been swing dancing since 1997, and DJing swing music for dancers since 2003. He’s DJ’d at major international swing events, such as Camp Hollywood/National Jitterbug Championships, the Herräng Swing Dance Camp (Sweden), and Lindy On The Rocks (Denver, CO). Morgan is constantly researching and finding historic jazz music as well as new bands for dancers to enjoy, and leads The Mad Hat Hucksters, a swing band based out of San Diego, CA. Saturday, July 6, for the prelims of both the Mix N Match at 4:30pm and the AZ Swing Dance Championships at 5pm at Kaleidescope Ballroom.

Saturday, July 6, at The Kats Korner for the band breaks and the finals of both the Mix N Match at 9pm and the finals of the AZ Swing Dance Championships at 11pm, both during the band breaks at Z Room Mesa.

Ashley Cohen Conner – AZ

Ashley has DJ’d all over Arizona, most notably at SWINGdepenDANCE, Phoenix Lindy Exchange, and BadAZ Balboa. Additionally, she has DJ’d across the southwest for LA Jitterbug, Downbeat Swing, Salt City Stomp, SwingDanceVegas, 505 Swing, and Boise City Swings. She particularly loves Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Williams, Aretha Franklin, Roosevelt Sykes, and Helen Humes. She is excited to be back at SWINGdepenDANCE and keep you on your feet! DJ Peach – AZ

Phoenix’s favorite Georgia transplant, DJ Peach, fell in love with swing dance after being thrown into a class while in college. It became a way to connect movement to the music she had been introduced to and admired from an early age. In the last 6 years, she has organized and DJed multiple events on either ends of the country and hosted workshop events to support new swing DJs. She loves deep diving into jazz collections and finding jewels to share with fellow dancers. Check out her incredible sets:
